Calgary Flames GM Darryl Sutter might be on the hot seat and, as the Vancouver Province's Orland Kurtenblog points out, Sutter has made some questionable decisions.
The Dion Phaneuf deal and the the deal for Olli Jokinen (which cost them a first-rounder) are among the decisions Kurtenblog criticizes. And, in the end, he writes, "All this and the Flames don't have a first- or second-round pick in this summer's draft." There's some speculation that coach Brent Sutter, his brother, might take over the GM role. Or the Flames could go out and see if Steve Yzerman is interested, as well as a handful of other guys. |

If the Flames keep on losing like they are...I say Sutter will be gone by Christmas time.
